Now SOLD OUT.  This 100% Syrah shows unique character and savory style. We blend two vineyard favorites here Les Collines and Stoney Vine.

Review of Washington Wines: It boasts a deep ruby color and intoxicating aromas of wild fruits of blackberries, mountain blueberries, brambly black currants with scents of crushed black roses, mulberry, pipe tobacco, lavendar, violets, sagebrush and spiced incense. The flavors are dramatic with lavish yet focused black and blue fruits that are infused with licorice, dark cocoa, French roast and silt and cobblestone minerals. The penetration continues on the back with macerated berries, roasted nuts, mocha, creme de cassis and kidskin, followed by lengthy spiced (nutmeg, clove) ripe tannin finish. 19+/20 points(July 2020)

Jeb Dunnuck: 2016 Stakes Race is all Syrah that was just 25% destemmed and brought up in a mix of new and neutral French oak. Offering more elegance and complexity, it's medium ruby/purple hue is followed by a smoky, meaty Syrah loaded with ripe black raspberry fruits, notes of cured meats, toasted nuts, milk chocolate, and dried herbs. It's beautifully textured, medium-bodied, and elegant on the palate. It will drink nicely for 5-7 years or more.
