Outstanding, Jeb Dunnuck: Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated 2016 Bold Ruler Red Blend (there's 25% Merlot) offers a charming, spicy, savory, and more red and black fruited style, with solid fruit, medium-bodied richness, some smoky, chocolaty oak, and a good finish. It's up-front and ready to go yet should keep for a solid decade. 90 Points. (May 2021)
