Reviews
96 Points, Tasting Room Magazine Full-bodied red wine radiates both underlying power and elegance, bursting with crushed ripe blackberry, cassis, fig and black raspberry preserves framed by pencil lead, warm cedar spice and cocoa. Finishes with firmness and polished tannins that resound with echoing flavors on the prolonged aftertaste. (September 2023)
Outstanding, Jeb Dunnuck Cabernet Sauvignon-dominated 2016 Bold Ruler Red Blend (there's 25% Merlot) offers a charming, spicy, savory, and more red and black fruited style, with solid fruit, medium-bodied richness, some smoky, chocolaty oak, and a good finish. It's up-front and ready to go yet should keep for a solid decade. 90 Points. (May 2021)
