Tasting notes
Light and refreshing with bright acidity come aromas of stone fruit and floral notes leading to rich lingering flavors of pink grapefruit, juicy watermelon and ripened strawberries.
WinePress NW says ... Aromas of red currant, golden raspberry, watermelon and baking spice are matched on the palate, backed by a nibble of red plum in the ultra-crisp finish. It's a remarkable first effort with rose'.
Great Northwest Wine says ... Aromas of cherry, dried strawberry, watermelon and facial powder come through as flavors with a pleasing mouth feel and a finish of blood orange. We've tried this several months apart and it remains a winning ticket after it's second-place finish in a field of 122 entries for the WinePress Northwest's spring rose' tasting.
